Vendor Biography
Sharon is a fibre and textile artist living in Bray, originally from County Kerry. She creates landscape pictures using wool fibre, thread and other materials. She uses a combination of techniques such as wet felting, needle felting and embroidery.
She also makes hats, scarves, shawls, rugs and other items from felting, peg loom weaving, free motion embroidery and more.
Sharon takes her own photos of her original felted pictures and has them made into tote bags, cushions and lamps. These are created in Ireland with eco materials.
Sharon has a passion for creating and promoting the learning of crafts for mental health. She teaches felting, block printing, Archaeological illustration, eco printing on paper and embroidery. She is the owner/director of The Muddle arts and crafts centre in Bray.
