About us

We hope you like what we have created here and would love to see the Wicklow art, craft and creative community grow their presence online, with us.
Robin Free (Leanweb.eu) and Rachel Kane (Lifehack.ie) have worked on many projects together over the years from non profit organisation communications and community projects to local independent businesses.

We believe that communication is the key to all things in life between people and their environment

With our combined local, design and technology knowledge we look forward to expanding Wicklow makers cultural community online. It’s not about getting rich it’s about making a living, learning from one another and opening a window into a tradition of craft deeply rooted in the heritage of Irelands Ancient East., Wicklow.

What our Stallholders say…

I have lived in the Glen of Imaal for the past 20 years or a little more. My workshop was the local shop and post office when I came here all those years ago. Having moved on from my studio in the artisan courtyard of Russborough House in Blessington, I am back in the heart of West Wicklow with fellow artists and crafters.

My collection speaks the language, and the sentiments of Irish farm and country life and human compassion. I only hope that my creations stimulate, engage, and inspire both the heart and mind. I now live in Co. Wicklow, and document my painting journey and life, in the heart of the countryside.

I grew up in a household that was quite unique. Mom and Dad are professional artists. I am a visual artist with a passion to facilitate and enable fellow creatives to achieve their dreams.
Now with a family of my own, I find it tricky sometimes to find time for my own creative practice. I know that is a recurring narrative among creative mothers,

I set up Slaney Quilting Studio as a place for people to come and learn to make patchwork quilts in the countryside of Ireland. A wide range of cotton fabric, cotton thread and tools are here waiting for you to add your own creativity. I also sell my own small creations from Crafty Craic art collective in the Glen of Imaal.
