Vendor Biography

Born in Cape Town, South Africa I am a self-taught Watercolour Artist and Porcelain Jewellery Designer / Manufacturer, I also make stoneware crockery.

I love both mediums because they are translucent which reflect a gentleness and simplicity.  i am inspired by the nature around my country garden, especially the small birds which visit and nest in the hedgerow.

After struggling to find earrings that wouldn’t irritate my allergic skin I started my own jewellery range.  Porcelain and gold were perfect as they are exceptionally light weight – each earring weighs only 1 gram.

My family and I settled in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains 15 years ago where I work from my garden studio.
