Vendor Biography
Founded on strong principles of equality and mutual social empowerment, CanDo is a social enterprise that trains and employs people who have vision impairments.
We began with one homemade soap mould and a small dream of independence – teaching our day service students the theory of soapmaking. This organically evolved into a thriving business that now trains young people from the ages of 18-26 and employs four people who otherwise would have remained distanced from the labour market – despite their skills and abilities.
Harking back to our service’s enterprising origins, we create natural products from ethically sourced and honest ingredients with no synthetic fragrances or additives.
However, our products do more than nourish skin and appeal to the senses – they bring concrete objects that promote equality and integration to the heart of homes all over the country. Through this we are bringing whole lives into focus.
