I recently received two pieces of artwork from BeaJordanArts and I cannot express how happy I am, and honoured, to have such outstanding pieces of art for my home in Cincinnati. Bea lovingly and carefully packaged the paintings and they arrived in absolutely perfect condition. I was so excited to open the package and I was not disappointed. The first painting was titled Evening Stroll, and I had been admiring it for just a short time, then decided that I just had to have it. It is a wonderful peaceful scene, and makes me want to join in with the two people strolling along. It is almost dreamlike, in varying shades of coffee, and it is inconceivable to me how, with such few colours, the artist takes you on an adventure that you cannot help but follow. I absolutely love this painting and it will be framed and hung in a room with lots of dark heavy furniture and will bring light just by its presence. The second painting is titled Robertstown, Co. Kildare and it caught my eye at the same time as the first. It is painted en plein air, and you feel like you are there watching from nearby. It has such an inviting feel to it, you want to sit and be a part of the scene. The colours are wonderful, bright and crisp, and such an energy to the painting, though calming at the same time. I love the brush strokes of colour throughout that gives such movement and I can't wait to frame this painting and put it somewhere that will inspire me to try en plein air. I don't know if I could but in the meantime I have these wonderful pieces of art to give me joy and I am so happy to have them.
