The porcelain clay body is made using a method called Nerikomi - porcelain is stained and then I layer the different colours to create a brick pattern - so the pale pistachio, grey, light blue, sienna and red colours continue through the clay.

After it is fired I apply 22K gold and then fire it again in the kiln to fuse the gold to the glaze. Each pair is slightly different and has unique patterns.

I designed and crafted them to be light weight and hypoallergenic. These unique porcelain are so light weight that you won’t even realise you are wearing earrings. The huggie earring fittings is 24K real gold plated surgical steel.

Each piece is hand shaped by me before being fired in a kiln to 1250C.

All jewellery pieces are lovingly hand crafted and designed by Natalie at her garden studio, in Rathvilly, County Carlow, Ireland.
