I was thrilled to receive some of Sarah Eva's artwork which had travelled safely from Ireland to Ohio. I was so anxious to see my selections in person and was absolutely enchanted with everything. Sarah's hand painted bookmarks are beautiful, they are on a very sturdy card stock so will definitely last a long time, through many book readings.. The artwork on them is wonderful, colorful and are original paintings so I am quite privileged to have them. The little stick ladders are so delicate yet sturdy, embellished with fragments of Irish moss. I love the fairy door, (Emily of Pine) how magical it seems, and I can't wait to put it out on a display. The fairy door was accompanied by two paper bags full to the brim with natural materials, all gathered ethically by Sarah and her family, and a little glass jar of fragments of dried flowers. Now it is up to me to be creative and make a special home for the fairy door and stick ladders., a fairy garden to be envied. I will leave it inside on a screened in porch so I can see it all year and it won't fade outdoors. I really like that all of the work that I received from Sarah comes from all natural materials found on a walk in the woods and that makes them extra special.
