Cyanotype with its vibrant blue shades reproduces beautifully on artist grade inkjet papers. Using a variety of papers, transfer methods and mixed media finishes each edition in each series will be a unique Blueprint of Nature.

What is Cyanotype?
The Cyanotype Process was discovered in 1842 by English Scientist John Herschel. It is a monochrome photographic process that produces a copy of the original in a Prussian Blue colour called a blueprint. Botanist Anna Atkins (1799-1871) used the process to detail botanical specimens and published a series of books using cyanotype exposure illustrations. The process requires a chemically coated substrate which is sensitised by exposure to a UV light source.
This print is printed with Professional Epson UltraChrome TM K3 inks on acid free archival fine art paper. The print has been hand finished with a layer of Cold Wax for protection and to add additional artistic interest. As with all art, the advice is to avoid display in strong glare of sunlight or directly over a heat source.

Orders will be sent using An Post postal service, shipped at Parcel Rate and include tracking. Recycled and recyclable packaging products will be used when available. Framed products are supplied with 2mm Acrylic glazing for safety.
Click and collect available within 20km of Blessington. Customer must email in advance to arrange.
Refund Policy
You can return any purchase within 14 days without justification (see 14-day cooling-off period). The items for refund will need to be returned at buyers’ expense and in acceptable condition,
