Farthing Coin Wine Stopper

Farthing Coin Wine Stopper

This elegant wine stopper was hand-turned from mahogany driftwood that washed up on the shores of Brittas Bay and is topped with a 1951 British farthing coin.

My father often collects driftwood from the beach in Brittas Bay and uses it for his wood turning. This is a beautiful example of the wonderful wood that can be washed up on our shores. This is a gorgeous Wine Stopper hand-turned from mahogany driftwood. It is finished with a lovely 1951 British Farthing coin, which features a little wren. This is such a unique and practical gift and would also be a wonderful gift for anyone born in 1951 who is celebrating their 70th birthday this year!
